Amphenol Thermometrics, Inc. (dba-Amphenol Advanced Sensors) is seeking:
Electrical Engineer with a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and at least 24 months of experience in Electrical Engineering. Annual starting salary depends upon experience, but at least minimum prevailing wage requirement of $68,432.00 per year. 40 hour work week. U.S. Citizen or Lawful Permanent Resident preferred.
Electrical Engineer will be responsible for:
Support and lead development of new products, and cost out of existing products, to drive business revenue growth and margin improvement. Lead design activities as part of New Product Introduction (NPI) teams and/or Custom Product Opportunities (CPO); design and develop electrical circuits, schematics, bill of materials and associated documentation; circuit layout in CAD tools; handson laboratory work (oscilloscopies, spectrum analyzers, soldering, electrical measurements, test execution); execute root cause analysis; Engineering support on installed base of product across various customers; provide manufacturing/production support; develop, design and process failure modes and effects analyses (DFMEA & PFMEA) with associated control plans; develop costs associated with CPO and/or NPI designs; work with field application engineers to support the product with our customers; setting up and executing tests in an engineering lab environment; become an integral member of a dynamic team that delivers innovative solutions to our customers; direct interaction with customers on existing and new opportunities; train others; maintain/enhance customer relationships with outings/entertainment; understand and follow applicable Company practices, policies, and procedures; and other functions as assigned.
